Samantha Jo Giles (born 28 October 1994) is a Cornish amateur golfer who has represented England〔http://www.englandgolf.org/playerprofile.aspx?sitesectionid=989&sitesectiontitle=England+Golf+Women&pref=40648〕 at the highest amateur level and who has been Cornwall's women's county champion since 2015. Born in Plymouth to parents Paul and Carol, both of whom had represented England at table tennis, Carol at the Commonwealth games and Paul as national champion, Giles started creating her early sporting history from a young age with interest in swimming, dancing and golf. Taking up her chosen career from the age of 11, Giles has been competing in regional, national and European events for the past 10 years. Since the completion of her GCSEs at the age 16, she has been training full-time in the pursuit of turning professional and joining the LPGA Tour.
